A playful seven-week journey to help children and parents understand big feelings and discover what helps them find their way back to calm.

Pause & Play is a live online course for children aged 6–9 and a parent or caregiver to enjoy together. Through stories, games, creative activities and calming exercises, you’ll build a shared emotional language and discover practical tools you can use in everyday family life.

Each week, we’ll explore a new idea together and give you opportunities to play, practise and experiment at home.

Every family receives a special Pause & Play Kit to bring the course to life at home. It includes Chit-Chat, mijn babbelhoedje, creative activities, calming tools and a new surprise to discover each week.

Pause & Play brings together in-depth research into emotional regulation, my experience as a researcher with a PhD in Research Psychology, en de lessen die ik heb geleerd binnen mijn eigen gezin en tijdens de Calm Club-workshops.

The aim is simple: to turn what research and real family life teach us into playful, practical tools that children and parents can actually use.

Course details

7 weeks · 30 minutes per week · Live online · Ages 6–9 + parent/caregiver · Limited to 8 families

Can’t make every week? No problem, you’ll be able to catch up.

Pilot price: €179 per family incl. VAT 
Includes all seven live sessions and the Pause & Play Kit for one parent & one child. Joining with another parent or child? They’re very welcome to take part. If you’d like them to have their own set of materials, you can add an additional set for €30 per person.

Because this is the first Pause & Play pilot, you’ll also have the opportunity to share your experiences and help shape the programme for future families.
